Below is a letter from Bman on theme camps.
I will try to forward them to camp mates via E-mail,
but will also try to post them here as they come.
If you are not on the camp email list, send your address to

Hi All,
If you need to make changes to your questionnaire please do so by
emailing us IMMEDIATELY at themecamps@burningman.com. Do not call
and do not use any other email addresses. Time is running out. We
need all updates by July 6th.
***Please let us know if the number of members in your camp has
changed. That is one of the largest determining factors for your
placement.
****Do not send additional information to the camplans@burningman.com
address or include it on your map or clean up plan. We may very well
not see it.

WHATWHEREWHEN SUBMISSIONS
"2004 PLAYA CALENDAR -- "WhatWhereWhen" NOW ACCEPTING LISTINGS
Attention Attention! The Burning Man 2004 Playa Calendar is ready for
your submissions! The playa calendar is our online calendar of events
that happen on the playa. We take these submissions and turn them into
the WhatWhereWhen Guide which is printed up and handed to every
individual who comes through the gate. If you want to publicize your
playa event, parade, party or what-have-you, please take a moment to
visit the Burning Man website and enter your event:
http://burningman.com/calendar/playa/
We can't wait for your events, so hurry and add them soon. The sooner
the better! Submissions accepted through July 25 will appear in the
WhatWhereWhen. Submissions made after July 25 will likely not be
included in the WhatWhereWhen.

EARLY ARRIVALS
Do you think you have so much to accomplished to do your theme camp
that you need to come early?
If so you MUST let us know what your plans are and how many people
need to come early. We will review every case and evaluate who can
come early and how early. We will need the individual names of all
people arriving early and will not let anyone in who is not listed.
Why so strict?
Our event is only one week long. If too many people come early we
would need to extend our infra structure to cover them. This would be
VERY costly and we are not prepared to do so. More importantly, if
we get too many people on the playa too early we will be in violation
of our permit with the Bureau of Land Management. This could result
in a huge bill ($4.00 per person per day )and/or changes to our
permit. The worst case scenario would be revoking our permit for
next year. We are not willing to take these chances.
What do you need to do to seek early access?
Please email us at campplans@burningman.com. You must submit a
request by July 12th. We will review your request and let you know
our decision by July 16th. Tell us the name of your camp, why you
need to come early, who needs to come early and how early you would
like to come. No one will be allowed to come before August 23th .
****Please do not show up on the playa early unless you have been
notified by us that you are on the early arrival list. If you are
not on our list you will be turned away!

REMEMBRANCE PLAQUE FOR BURNERS LOST
Since 1996, Burning Man has created a plaque to commemorate members of
our community who have passed away. We would like to carry on this
tradition and honor those who have impacted our Burning experiences and
participated in making Burning Man happen. This is a call out to you,
our community, to please let us know of any burners lost who you feel
should be added to the Remembrance Plaque. Please send their name,
exactly as you would like to see it appear, to this address:
remembrance@burningman.com
